Canada's Best Fourth of July Party

I said a few posts back that I was hosting an Independence Day party for a friend that moved here from the States. I did not take any photos once the party was underway, but I do have some shots of the decorations. (I will be checking Facebook later, I am sure some pics will make their way there)
Buffet table and citronella stakes; Glasses holding cutlery;

Drink parasols and paper fireworks;

Table decor and background streamers; We did a potluck style thing and the food was amazing. I served 3 different punches; one red, one blue and one white (clear). We had a great time and my poor little American was so touched. We got our husbands to meet as well (the men don't really know each other). It was a great time AND someone in my neighbourhood was setting off fireworks anyhow!
Card stock; Whisper White, Riding hood Red, Pacific Point
Ink; Riding hood Red, Pacific Point
Stamps; Starstruck
Accessories; bamboo skewers, streamers, paper lanterns, citronella candles, citronella torches, vinyl table cloth, Handy Husband, Good Friends.

What a super sweet thing to do for your friend! Sounds like you had a good time!

We had our yearly pool party here and the weather finally warmed up enough to enjoy.

Have a great week!

okay, I was totally confused!! I was sure you were canadian but I missed the title and then got to the end and started wondering why you were using red white and blue for your canada day celebrations...but I went back and read the title again....Okay, I get it now. Awesome decorations!! Way to go girl!!
